Inova Solutions organizes successful Christmas Challenge for local charities

What started as a simple challenge initiated by Inova Solutions employees, to collect Christmas gifts or donations for people in need, turned out to be a successful donation campaign for the company's locations in the region.  

"Even though we have team members in several locations in the region, it was beautiful to see how our teams in the different areas took on this Christmas Challenge, made it their own, and spread some holiday cheer in their local community", said Marketing Manager Adriana Wong. The goal of the Christmas Challenge was to encourage fellow colleagues to give back to the community.

The team at the Inova Solutions headquarters in Curaçao chose to support the Ieder Kind een Kerstcadeau charity (A Christmas Gift for Every Child) by Dolfijn MF, Rotaract Club of Curaçao and Children's Museum Curaçao and collected 51 gifts in total. This motivated management to add 49 gifts, to donate 100 gifts from the company. Together with neighbor NetPro group, 150 gifts were donated to the Ieder Kind een Kerstcadeau charity. 

This was shared on the internal company social network, Yammer (part of the Microsoft 365 subscription available through Inova Solutions) and the locations in the region followed suit. 

The Jamaica team chose Sophie's Place, dedicated to disabled children, as their charity this year. On December 23rd, the team made a visit to Sophie’s Place to deliver care packages. Sophie's place is an arm of the Mustard Seed Communities, that support and take care of disabled children. The team arrived early in the morning at Sophie’s Place and was received by manager Carolene Harrison, who was elated the receive the packages, consisting of several items from face masks to mac & cheese. "We are so pleased that you have chosen to support us during these difficult times. Please keep doing the great work you are doing. This is such a blessing, and we are truly grateful, thank you so much", said Harrison.

The team in Trinidad and Tobago donated food hampers for those at the Lady Hochoy Home. The facility dedicates itself to persons with mental and physical disabilities, some of them children who have been abandoned by family members and are currently living on the premises. The Trinidad & Tobago team participated in the ‘Your Christmas Giving in the Bag’ campaign, purchasing premade Christmas food hampers to help Lady Hochoy Home care for their clients. The team had the pleasure of donating 18 food hampers in total on behalf of Inova Solutions Trinidad & Tobago. Team member Narda McMaster said that it was a pleasure to see a smile on the faces of those at the facility. 

Inova Solutions Puerto Rico delivered several presents to Hogar Cuna San Cristobal. As was the case in Curaçao, Inova Solutions paired the gifts collected from Puerto Rico's office staff. Hogar Cuna San Cristobal is a non-profit organization that serves as home for orphans from one month old up to five years old.

Inova Solutions celebrates this Holiday season with a feeling of fulfillment, knowing it has positively impacted those less fortunate. The company is extremely proud of the staff's involvement in these charities.
