The Cabinet of the Government of Jamaica has adopted the use of an Electronic Cabinet Document Management System based on Microsoft Office 365.
On January 6, 2020, during the first Cabinet Meeting of 2020, The Cabinet of the Government of Jamaica officially launched their Electronic Cabinet Document Management System. This Document Management System is based on Microsoft Office 365, which is an integrated experience of apps and services, designed to increase collaboration, become more efficient and stimulate growth.
The Cabinet had an overwhelmingly positive reception as they issued hybrid tablets with Microsoft Office 365 complete with Office 365 E3 licenses and EMS E3. Now that Office 365 is officially internal policy, we expect the cabinet to be completely electronic by the first quarter of this year.
