Inova Solutions supports Ministry of Education and Youth Jamaica

On Tuesday, Feb. 14, a press conference was held in Jamaica in the presence of Education and Youth Minister Fayval Williams and Jeroen Nederkoorn, Territory Manager Inova Solutions, to launch the implementation of the Microsoft 365 Suite program for 500.000 teachers and students.

“We are proud to partner with the Ministry of Education and Youth to bring cutting-edge technology into the schools and classrooms in Jamaica,” said Jeroen Nederkoorn.

In her ongoing efforts to bridge the digital divide, the Minister of Education and Youth Jamaica, Fayval Williams, through Inova Solutions, has signed an agreement with tech giant Microsoft, giving 500,000 students and teachers in public education institutions access to Microsoft 365 licenses.

“We are very happy to be collaborating with Microsoft on this project.  This is another step in implementing our Technology in Education Policy. Of significance, those students who are on the cusp of entering the world of work will learn the skills and become competent on applications that are essential in the workplace, making the students more valuable to employers on their entry into the work world,” the minister said.
